Sortablonde stopped and wrote a check to the Central Texas American Red Cross on her way in to work this morning, and she hopes that everyone will make similar donations to the Red Cross and other reputable organizations to help these people. The situation is really bad for the hurricane victims (understatement of the century, I know), and other than prayers, money is what they need the most.
